Oolong tea is half-fermented and thus is relatively thick in flavor. 
Oolong tea is very popular in south-east China and Taiwan and also the most used tea for Kung Fu Cha. 
You got to love this - Oolong is an emulsifier for fat and cholesterol. Like a savior for today's junk food eaters. 
And since Oolong emulsifies, make sure you don't drink it with an empty stomach. You may feel like being punched in the stomach if you do so. 

 

Li Shan Oolong Tea ¨CExquisite

This tea is of surpassing excellence and there is no equal or better. It is harvested above 2000 meters from Li-Shan (Pear mountain) area in Taiwan during spring season. It is a light fermentation high mountain tea with very long lasting sweet aftertaste. The exquisite aroma is flowery and persistent. Li-Shan is the highest altitude mountain area in Taiwan. Because of its year round cool climate, the tealeaves grow slower than usual. As the harvest altitude increases, the bitterness of the tea decreases. Li-Shan Tea has no traceable bitterness and its high mountain tea aroma is unrivaled. 

DongDing Oolong (Freezing Peak Oolong)

This tea is grown at an altitude of over 6,000 feet. Oxidised only 18%, it is a highly aromatic oolong with a striking floral scent reminiscent of honeysuckle and gardenia.

 

RenShen Oolong (Ginseng Oolong)

Ginseng Oolong is known to be mind-refreshing and body rejuvenating. The Pen Tsao Ching, a Chinese book of herbs says that ginseng enlightens the mind, increases wisdom, and gives longevity to the user.

 

A-Li-Shan Cha (A-Li-Shan Tea)

This Taiwanese Oolong consists of large rolled leaves that have a purple-green appearance when dry. It is grown in Chaiyi County in Taiwan. The elevation ranges from 3000 to 4500 feet. There is a short period of the day with full sun and this produces a sweeter and less astringent brew.

 

GaoShan JinXuan (High Mountain Golded Tree)

It is made from a relatively new tea plant varietal developed in the 1990s to bring out the creaminess often associated with Oolong teas grown at higherelevations. Processed like Wulong tea, it is similar in color but has a distinct aroma that blends well with its creamy flavor.

 

Oriental Beauty

This Oriental Beauty is a fragrant tea with the complexities of an Oolong tea in taste and aroma, but the appearance and strength of a Black tea. Originally devised to compete with the popular Darjeeling teas form India, Oriental Beauty was promoted heavily in Europe and the US  before World War II. The tea also known as White Fur Oolong because of the white leaves created by the processing method. Oriental Beauty is only picked once a year at the end of summer. Due to the local weather and environmental conditions in Northern Taiwan, this tea is difficult to obtain and always yields multicolor leaves. The leaves undergo a high degree of fermentation (80%) before it is baked.  

 

 Monkey- Picked Tie Guan Yin

Legend has it that monkeys were trained by monks to collect the leaves from the branches of the wild tea trees growing on steep mountainsides. Today, the term ¡°monkey-picked¡± simply means the highest quality available. The tea brews an amber infusion with a fresh orchid fragrance and a smooth and full-bodied caramel flavor. Our monkey-picked tea was picked and processed by masterful human hands using techniques at least two centuries old.  

High Mountain Oolong

 

This was made in the classic style of high mountain oolongs and grown in the Mountains of Shan Ling Shi in central Taiwan. A sip of this tea clears the palate and after swallowing it¡¯s floral aftertaste blooms on the palate and fills the sensory receptors. Complex and rich in flavor, this tea is prized by tea drinkers everywhere. This is a tea to enjoy gung-fu style, using a Yixing pot and repeated infusions

FengHuang Dan Chong (Phoenix Bird Oolong)

Grown in the Phoenix Mountains of Guangdong province, this green-style oolong tea was once a tribute tea reserved for the emperor of China. It is entirely handmade in the traditional manner by allowing the tea plants to mature into small trees, requiring pickers to use ladders at harvest time. The golden infusion has a fruity aroma and a delicate fruity and woodsy flavor. The leaves support many infusions, making this a perfect tea for gongfu style preparation

 

Wuyi Yan Cha (Wuyi Rock Tea)

This is a robust and toasty dark-style oolong tea from the Wuyi Mountains, where oolong tea originated. It grows among the steep, mineral-rich cliffs in a dense wilderness area

 

WenShan BaoZhong (Wen Mountain Bag Seed)

Baozhong tea has the freshness of a green tea and the flowery notes of an oolong. Use more dry volume of this tea as it is light and fluffy as a result of its drying process. Leaves can be infused two or three times while retaining a sweet smoothness.    More info...
